I'm Oren Sultan, Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer based in Israel. 10+ years in infrastructure — starting from an intelligence unit background, through network engineering at Motorola, and into cloud-native platform work.

I spend most of my time inside Kubernetes clusters, Pulumi/Terraform stacks, and GitOps pipelines — usually embedded within product R&D teams. I care about the gap between "works in staging" and "holds up in production."

Since 2021 I work at Tikal – Fullstack as a Service, moving between client engagements and building things that need to actually run. I also run Tikal's DevOps group routine — sessions, tech talks, and knowledge-sharing across the team.

• Migrated monolithic Pulumi codebase to a modular GitOps model with ArgoCD ApplicationSets and ESO for secrets sync
• Replaced static node groups with Karpenter; cut compute costs ~30%
• Deployed KEDA for event-driven scaling of data-scan workloads
